Our Story
Sun Auto Repair was founded in 2005 by master technician Robert "Bobby" Sun with a single goal: build a repair shop where customers never have to wonder if they're being told the truth. After years of working at dealerships where sales quotas often came before customer needs, Bobby opened a small two-bay garage on Sunrise Boulevard with that promise front and center.
Two decades later, we've grown into a full-service auto repair and maintenance center with a team of ASE-certified technicians, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and thousands of satisfied customers — but our values haven't changed. Every repair starts with an honest diagnosis, a clear explanation, and a fair price.
Today, Sun Auto Repair proudly serves individual drivers, families, and local fleet operators across the Phoenix metro area, and we're just as committed to this community as the day we opened our doors.
